The two US economists William Nordhaus and Paul Romer today received the Nobel Prize for their models “which explain how the market economy interacts with nature and knowledge”.

According to Professor Nordhaus, an expert on climate change, a reduction in CO² emissions is possible with minor limitations. Professor Nordhaus, an expert in environmental and climate economics at Yale University, says: “There are some limitations. But once we start and try to release less carbon dioxide, we’ll be amazed that it’s not as difficult as we thought.”
