With the first ParentsClimateEvening before a Student Climate Summit, the three initiators EnergyAgency.NRW, ClimatePact Lippe and GetPeople are breaking new ground. For the first time, the development scenarios of climate research will be presented to parents, teachers and interested parties from all over East Westphalia under the direction of TV moderator Stefan Leiwen.
Dr. Tobias Bayr from GEOMAR in Kiel, the research centre of professor Latif, provides information about the 1,5 degree world and answers the questions:
“What awaits our children in 2050?”
Jonas Schubert, speaker for the right of children to a healthy environment terre des hommes Help for children in need, will shed light on the situation in Africa, among other places, in order to bring the scenarios closer to reality.
